Elderbrain’s Torrents of the Spellhoarder is a 300-page D&D 5e adventure module and campaign setting with loads of player options, primarily based on survey replies from members of the Elderbrain community. The high-level adventure can be played as the sequel to the Crown of the Oathbreaker campaign or as a standalone adventure. It features scores of new monsters, encounter maps, subclasses, feats, spells, and magic items. The seafaring and exploration sandbox adventure incorporates over twenty dungeon maps and a regional map with 100 locations. The adventure takes 15th-level characters on an exploration journey through the treacherous waters of the Calhay Sea around the famed draconic Isles of Xantharos and above the lost underwater Kingdom of A'rvanshy. The book is based on the feedback of hundreds of D&D fans whose votes on their preferences gave the backbone of the adventure and the campaign setting. The community continuously influences the fine details of the story and the setting through Elderbrain’s Discord server. Torrents of the Spellhoarder also includes 100 NPCs, their locations, and portraits based on the actual photos of members of the Elderbrain community. We designed a fast-paced strategy card game where you can battle your friends with spell effects based on the schools of magic from D&D. We had much fun playtesting it and it seems you guys like it a lot!

With the $15,000 Stretch Goal unlocked, Spell Wars will feature 64 unique cards for all schools of magic, in an embossed box printed with metallic ink, and with all cards being printed in metallic ink as well! This will make the game much more pleasing visually. We are so happy... :)

The first few NPC portraits are out and they already have their places in the book. 19 of the 24 subclasses were illustrated and the rest are coming early next year. They are already based on your best suggestions and their powers will be also created together with the Elderbrain Hive Mind.

Meanwhile, the Elderbrain is busy as usual, crafting the 24 subclasses that will be included in Torrents of the Spellhoarder. Here is a preview of what's to come, as our wonderful illustrators tackle them one by one.
Clerics of the Water Domain worship the everflowing aspect of Nature. They have an affinity to this singular element, suffusing their divine magic with the essence of water and freely transforming their spells to flow. They are at home in bodies of water and have the ability to breathe underwater, where they perform their daily prayers.
Horned Rager barbarians wear horns or horned helmets, with which they gore their foes during the heat of battle. As they progress through their paths, they actually sprout horns of their own and use them to devastating effect, even impaling their enemies.
Bards who serve on ships are often the most popular members of their crews, with a vast repertoire of shanties that can lift the spirits of sailors on long journeys and motivate them to brave the stormy seas. They are also often found in harbor taverns, where they perform the favorite songs and dances of maritime folk.
Some sorcerers are born with the bloodline of aboleths, either spawned by these horrifying aberrations or created through vile magical experiments. Their physical forms shift to resemble their dark forebears - their skin secretes poisonous mucus, they grow tentacles, and some even sprout additional eyes.
Hope you enjoy these options, which will be available to players and will be included in the adventure through various NPCs.
